Michigan’s “interesting” weather can sometimes turn severe. Prepare now for business continuity and disaster recovery.

April 16-22, 2017 is Severe Weather Awareness Week here in lovely Michigan. We truly have it easy here in the Mitten State, with very little risk of big disaster-makers like earthquakes and hurricanes.

However, severe weather is a seasonal possibility, with risks for your family, home, and business.

If you’ve been in the state for more than a year, you’ve experienced some of the crazy weather we get. Blizzards, thunderstorms, ice, tornadoes – sometimes all in the same week.

Fires and plumbing leaks can happen to anyone. And, yes, once in a while, we get an unprecedented wind storm or a 100-year flood. So, even though Michigan avoids some of the more intense natural events, it’s good to know what to do to help keep your business going, and to have a plan to recover from a worst-case scenario.
