When a client requests a PC from TAZ Networks, our standard is the Lenovo ThinkPad T15. Why? The T15 is a reliable product that is light, mobile, and powerful. The T15 comes in a standard business spec lineup meaning 8-16GB RAM, an i5 or i7, and a 256GB or 512GB SSD. These computers have also taken advantage of the CPU access to the PCIe lanes to access storage faster than their competitors. Also, their 11th gen processors are enough to multitask in a business environment without carrying around a massive PC. And this is all the base model, the ThinkPad T15 has two other models that target a smaller audience but are effective.
The Lenovo T15p
The ThinkPad T15p is the high-performance version of the T15. This PC was made with the intention of helping those who need to multitask on their job. Being the performance model of the T15, this PC was created to optimize performance while using your laptop for everyday things. At a heftier price point, the T15p will give you an 11th Gen i7, up to a 4TB PCIe SSD, up to 64GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce 1650. This model is recommended for those who must run massive programs or need many things running at once. While the T15 can still handle this, purchasing the T15p will provide the user with a much smoother workflow, saving you both time and money.
The Lenovo T15g
The final model is the T15g, built to enjoy media, entertainment, game development, and AR/VR. Once again, this PC does have a heftier price point, however, you do receive some nice upgrades that will boost performance. Provided here is an i9 processer, an OLED touchscreen, 128GB of Memory, and most importantly an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card. Once again, this PC is meant to run demanding software or games. Generally, this is not recommended for a typical business setting, however, if you are looking for a device that can function as both your work computer and a gaming laptop, this is the one for you.
