Need some pointers on installing XP SP2?

There's a nice little article on the Microsoft XP site about what you should do to prepare to install Windows XP Service Pack 2 by a Microsoft MVP. Good stuff to remember.

This has been a question quite a few have asked me of late. Have you installed SP2? Does it work? Are there a lot of problems?

Folks definitely install XP SP2 on a test machine immediately and work with all your applications to make sure they function correctly. More times than not they work just fine and it won't be a problem to move your user base to SP2. It's more secure, it adds a lot of great wireless features and better bluetooth support. Definitely take the jump and move to SP2.
