Livingston talks about Anti-Phishing

Brian Livingston of windowssecrets.com fame is giving the Keynote for SMBNation and is talking about the state of the computer industry. Unfortunately phishing is one big problem right now. Brighton mentioned the Anti-Phishing Working Group web site. Amazing that there was 1442 unique attacks in June 2004 and it is growing at 52% per month. Also, although we think that most of these phishing sites might be overseas but 27% are in the US!

Definitely one thing that all of us in the SMB area need to inform and instruct our clients, users, etc to these facts and make sure we warn them of the possible fraud associated with these items.
